About SHMC

We are Strength & Honor.
Our Strength is in our brotherhood and the commitment we have to one another. We are accountable to ourselves and to each other and we pledge to abide by our guiding principles of Honor, Integrity, Loyalty, and Dedication.

We are a motorcycle club. You can't buy our patch, we do not give it away, you must earn it.

SHMC does not require members to ride a specific brand of motorcycle so long as the motorcycle falls into the cruiser or touring categories with an engine displacement of 750 cubic centimeters (cc) or larger, although most of us choose to ride Harley-Davidsons.

SHMC functions, activities, and rides are open to club members, their families, and invited guests. A probate or patched member must sponsor all guests and is responsible for the conduct of the guest while riding and socializing.

SHMC will support charitable causes approved by the leadership. SHMC cannot support every charitable cause without depleting finite resources. It is therefore incumbent on the chapter’s leadership to determine which charitable causes to support and the manner in which the charity is to be supported.

OUR COLORS:

The iron cross represents the righteous ideals of the club. The crossed hammers
represent the gavels of justice. The black shield serves as a reminder of the chaotic and often
perilous environment of our chosen professions and the need for protection from the resident
evils. The warrior wearing the horned helmet represents all those who wage war against
individuals who aim to deny our constitutional rights and peace of mind. The warrior’s blue eyes
represent the law enforcement origins of the club and are a constant reminder of the “thin blue

line” that we walk. The warrior's name is HILDAR and is an acronym for:

Honor Integrity Loyalty Dedication Always Remember
